What to do if I was a passenger in a car with marijuana inside of it and I got charged with constructive possession of marijuana?

However, now my friend, the driver of the vehicle, is accepting responsibility for all of the marijuana. How do I go about relaying this information to the police or the county prosecutor?

I suggest that you retain a criminal defense attorney to assist you in your matter and posisbly negotiate a plea deal with the district attorney's office as opposed to you attempting to do so.

If your friend is willing to take the blame for the crime allowing the dismissal of the charge against you, so be it.
