What to do if my car got repossessed for missing a payment but the payment was paid and y bank shows they deposited the check the next day?

They said they lost the check. What is my legal recourse? And now they are saying I can get my car back but I have to pay the $300 repo fee for their error not mine.

The way to resolve the situation is to pay the $300 to get your vehicle back and stop the running of any storage fees. Once you get the car back, make a written demand for payment of the $300 paid to get your car back to the lender with payment by a certain date. If the due date comes and goes and no payment, then small claims court seems to be your option.
