If I’m filing for political asylum and got fingerprinted at homeland security yesterday but my application was filed 2 months ago, can I get a work authorization?

Also, can I get a SSN?

In order to get work authorization in this country you need to apply for the applicable work visa regardless of the fact that you have applied for political asylum in this country. You need to go through the proper protocol for the desired work visa just like any other non resident American.
