How can I proceed to get a divorce settlement document enforced?
I was divorced 8 years ago after 14 years of marriage. The divorce settlement was drawn up by my ex and I. Very simple language, no lawyers. We both agreed but he has not done anything we agreed too.

First, I am assuming that your Settlement Agreement was filed in court and incorporated into the Final Judgment and Decree of Divorce. If my assumption is correct, then the Settlement Agreement becomes the order of the court. You should retain the services of an attorney to bring a contempt action against your ex for violating the court order.
