What to do if my mother is holding my property know her storage unit and refusing me access to remove my belongings?

We have no written agreements for any payments to be made to her. What can I do?

If you entrusted your Mother with your belongings it could be considered a "bailment" situation and if she will; not allow you access to them you may have to bring an action against her for "conversion" - making your things hers or selling them.  Speak with some one in your area.  Good luck.
