I am so sorry. If he refuses to cooperate then the divorce becomes listed as "contested" which means that you would have to have him served with the petition. Once that is done - and you should seek help since he is out of state - the rules are different - you have to wait and see if he answers. If he does not then you can file for a default. If he does then it is not going to be quick at all. Good luck.
