What to do if we’re being sued and our insuer dropped us?
About a year ago, I was the cause of an accident that had no injuries at the time. However our insurance dropped us immediately and didn’t pay a penny of anything. We’ve been paying of what we owed on that car slowly. But now, just got a letter saying we’re being sued for $14,000. What can we do?

Very interesting.... I would be very interested in knowing why your insurer didn't provide coverage for the accident. Anyway, your question cannot be properly answered in an online forum. You need to call an attorney right away. Did you forward that letter to your insurance company? You need to do so immediately, either by fax and/or certified mail.
