What are my right as a parent if my child was forced into an ambulance?

My minor child had severe stomach cramps due a normal menstrual cycle, so she was sent to the school nurse. The nurse examined her and contacted me; the school and I agreed to let the child go home. An estranged unknown female on the local city bus summoned an ambulance. The minor child objected to the ambulance but was overpowered by fire medical personnel and was shoved in. She was taken to the hospital and given ibuprofen without implied, verbal or written consent, nor did her actions warrant any doctor to treat her. She objected to the treatment. The condition was not life threatining. Do I have to pay the $8,000 bill?

This is a very strange fact pattern.  I feel as if there is some information missing but will try to respond based on what you have told me.  I think you should complain to the director of the ambulance company, the hospital and report the situation to the AMA.  You can also contact your local state representative for advice on how to proceed.
