There is no way of telling. If they or their insurer voluntarily pays (which they should, given that they choose to settle--but people do odd things sometimes), if the settlement agreement specifies a time frame, they will have to follow it. If there  is no time frame specified, it will likely be anywhere from, say, three weeks (a bit under a month) to three months.

If they do not pay and try to dishonor the agreement, you'll need to bring collections actions against them, which could take many months to considerably more than a year, start to finish.
