Generally, the state of Texas can not firce you to pay for college tuition costs. Only some states can force a non-custodial parent to pay for college and there are limitations as to same. New York is one of the states. Your agreement in the child support section or under another section of the marital settlement agreement to do so will, though, be binding upon you.
