Most jurisdictions are offering forms to help people file divorces on their own including the petition to start the divorce and a decree to finish it.  Your major challenge will be getting notice to your wife.  If you can't find her, then you may have to have her served by publication.   More of the larger clerks also include forms for requesting this type of alternative service.  Basically, this is where they put a notice in the paper.  If she doesn't answer, then you obtain your divorce after the default period-- which is roughly 20 days after the publication date.
