Can I be personally sued?
I was involved in an accident driving a company vehicle. I was charged with the accident but I was not sited. No one was injured. Our company insurance will take car of the repairs, rentals, etc. I realize the company may be sued but can I also be personally sued?

Yes, you can be personally sued if you were at fault in causing the accident--that is, you were driving negligently or carelessly. It does not matter that you were driving a company vehicle: the at fault driver may always be sued, as well as his or her employer (if the accident occurred in the course of work) and the vehicle's owner.
