I have read up on this and seem to keep finding that Ohio let’s non violent felons posses or own firearms after their sentence is completed, which I have been completed for a few years. Although some evidence I find is conflicting which leaves me wondering what the case may be. The offense occured in 2009 and I was sentenced in 2010. I recieved 5 years probation which is completed. Thank You

If you pled guilty or were found guilty of any felony and convicted of that offense, then you cannot possess a firearm under the federal statutes, even if your state statute permits possession.  Federal statutes can run a minimum of five year prison sentence.  This is not to say that you will be prosecutored federally.... but you could be charged and convicted in the federal system.
