Can an employer write up an employee who has a doctor’s note?
I went to the ER yesterday with stomach problem’s. My employer said that she was going to write me up. Does she have that right even though I have an excuse from the hospital? I said that I’m not signing anything

A doctor's note is not legally binding on an employer, absent an employment contract or union agreement to the contrary. Accordingly, you can legally be written up, unless some form of actionable discrimination is the reason for this.
