Can my husbands job of 10 years suddenly require him to work 7 days a week
My husband has had his welding job for over 10 years. New managers want to make a schedule change requiring 10 hours a day 7 days a week. Is this Legal in Texas? I don’t know how they can ask them to work in 115 degree heat 7 days a week with no day off for his duties as a Priest in our church.

Unless this action violates the terms of an employment contract or union agreement it is legal. The fact is that most work is "at will" which means that a company can set the conditions of employment much as it sees fit (absent some form of legally actionable discrimination). This includes how many hours an employee can be scheduled to work.
