How do i guarantee that i own all the rights to a logo i had drawn by a free lancer?
I’m starting a clothing brand, don’t even have the patent yet but i’m currently in
the process of hiring a freelancer to draw the logo for me. I’m aware of an IP
agreement but how would I draft one and what would it entail.

You should be able to down samples or templates: "Google" "work-for-hire" agreements for graphic artists or logos. In essence, the agreement merely needs to say that Freelander is being hired to create a logo for you; that you are paying the Freelancer some amount to do this; that the work is being created as a "work-for-hire" and that all rights in and to the work will belong to you, as the person commissioning it; and that the Freelance agrees to assign and transfer any rights he or she may have in the work to you.
