Can principal require pregnancy disclosure?
At a staff meeting, the principal of our school told
staff that she is doing the budget and if anyone plans
on becoming pregnant or having changes to health
insurance involving adding or removing someone
from their plan, we need to email her to let her know.
Is this legal? This is in NH.

An employer only needs to disclose pregnancy if and when she is requesting some "reasonable accommodation" or time off (e.g. FMLA leave).

It is legal for her to *ask* for planning purposes (just as she could ask about tenantive vacation plans for planing purposes), but she has not power to compel or require anyone to disclose this or to punish someone who does not disclose.
