What is the sentencing of a Class A and C juvenile misdermeanor?
My 16 year old son was arrested at school in Illinois was arrested for possession of marijuana and drup paraphenalia. He doesnt have a record, however is going to an alternative school for problem kids and is failing. He recently was arrested there for disorderly conduct for disrupting the class but it hasn’t gone to court yet. The **** charge is 2.5 grams and a smoking pipe.

Generally, for each possession charge (marijuana and drug paraphernalia), the penalty is up to 1 year in prison and up to a $1,000 fine.
If this is your son's first offense, he may be able to ask for rehabilitation. This would result in less severe penalties for him.
