If I am sued and the company gets a judgement what happens ?
I owe about 22000.00 on two credit cards and I don’t think I can pay the min even with the debt people so do you think I will get sued? bankruptcy not an option at this time. thanks,Don

this is a very difficult question to answer because a lot of factors go into the decision of whether to sue or not. In general yes if you owe money and don't make payments eventually you will be sued. The only reason they may choose not to is if the decision is made that collections will be very difficult and not worth pursuing.
The latter can happen but on average when a person defaults on credit cards the debt is charged off and eventually a suit ensues.
