bankruptcy and homemakers right
if my husband is filing for bankruptcy – and i have not worked for the past 12 years (having stayed home to raise kids) i am just re-entering the work force – should i and/or can i stay out of his filing in order to retain my credit?

You most likely will be impacted. Your husband filing bankruptcy will impact you and your credit, especially if dealing with marital property and marital debt.
