My mother and myself own a house and she is dead.
The deed was a survivorship deed. How do I get her name removed so I can add my wife’s name? My mom had no will. I filed a affidavit of jointly held real estate. I am low income and was told I need 2 deeds so I wouldn’t have to pay for the tax stamps. What papers need to be done?

This involves paperwork, not something we are all good at doing. Why don't you call legal aid for help. If that doesn't work out for you then if there is a law school nearby call their clinic, they are usually frre/low cost.
Best of luck.
