Moving into a rental home in foreclosure

My landlord moved into one of his homes when he hadn’t made a payment in 3 months..I have paid him 3 months rent already and now the home is in foreclosure…Is there anything I can do?

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area.  Unfortunately, there is nothing you can really do.  You have a bad landlord who is not paying the mortgage.  Maybe it is becasue he is not collecting enough rent from his tenants, but that is not your problem, but rather the real estate markets reality.  I suggest that you start looking for a new place to live asap as you cannot stop the foreclosure process unless you are going to want to buy the place.
