If my nephew crashed my car when he was 17 and he is now18, can I sue him for car repairs?
I let him drive my car because he was begging me the whole day. He was driving perfectly until I fell asleep in the passenger seat. From what the witness had said, he was switching lanes at 90 mph. There was $2,400 in damages.

I would speak with an attorney in your area but my gut instinct here is no. You were the adult in the vehicle? He was under your supervision? He was driving with your permission? Do you ee where I am going with all of this? If you had insurance then I am guessing that it was fixed and the insurance company paid. Then they would have the right to subrogate your claim (they sue him as your policy gives them the right to stand in your shoes) if they so choose to do so. If you were not insured well, then, maybe try some guilt and see if he lives up to being the mad he should have been when driving. Good luck to you.
