How can I collect a finders fee for bringing a buyer to a realtor?
I can bring a qualified buyer to a realtor and I’d like to collect a commission for doing this. The realtor says he has to get the referral through a real estate referral company. Can an LLC act as real estate referral company and collect a commission from the realtor for bringing him a buyer? Or does the “real estate referral company” have to have / be a licensed realtor in the state? Info on the Internet seems to point to the need to be a licensed realty professional; other info says I can be a consultant. How can I collect a commission by bringing a buyer to the realtor?
