If your employer requires you to take a drug test (either with or without notice), then you must be subjected to the test and take it. Usually, it is a zero tolerance policy with those who do require drug testing. Therefore, you will most likely see the company withdrawing its offer to you, especially if the drug test was part of the contingencies of finalizing employment. Consider talking to the employer if you were under prescribed medications that may have caused false positive test results. Perhaps then and only then would you be allowed a second chance to take the drug test.
