If my boyfriend and I have been living together for almost 4 years and he asks me to move out, what claim do I have on the furnishings that I bought?
In a house that he owns. I purchased the living room set, dining room set, TV, washer/dryer, etc. How would the law split that up?

If you are not on the title, you are not an owner. If you are not on a lease, or least paying rent, you are not a tenant--you are only a guest. A guest may be asked to move out at any time.
If you paid for the items wholly yourself and they were for use in a home which you were living in, you would have a very good claim to owning them, assuming you could substantiate, or prove, that you purchased them (e.g. have receipts).
