That depends on your income. You can contact your utility or County public assistance office to see if you are eligible for a utility subsidy known as Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP). The law prevents the heat from being turned off during winter months. If they threaten to do so, you may contact the Public Utilities Commission in Columbus.
