This will all depend on your state's DMV requirements. A bench warrant is not a complete bar to obtaining a State I.D.. Contact your local DMV to see if this will be an issue. Also, remember that you can always be arrested by law enforcement when you have a open bench warrant, so its always best to clear up the warrant as soon as possible.
