How can we get my grandfather’s remains back?
My grandfather passed about 6 months ago and my aunt is withholding his ashes from my grandmother. They were married but not living together when he passed. Is there anything we can do to get his remains back?

I am so sorry for your loss and for the situation. Did your Aunt pay for the funeral and cremation? Then that is why they gave her the ashes. If they were still legally married then they should have gone to your grandmother but I think that at this point she may have to take legal action to get them back. Good luck.
