Unfortunately you have to re-issue a check for payment on your account even though you made the payment but the vendor for some odd reason ended up losing the check that it acknowledges receiving from you.

Under the laws of all states in this country, even though you made a payment, the payment on your account was not technically completed where there was a debit from your checking account.
