Is it illegal and punishable to login into my husband’s email and social site accounts?

I am not collecting any data to use against him by doing this. I just want to know for myself the things he is lying to me about. We are going through a divorce right now.

Yes, it is a violation of federal law and many state laws, including New Jersey. You should stop doing it immediately.
