WARNING BEWARE OF PIONEER STATE MUTUAL I was with this company for only a year. I've had a very bad experience with them see I am disabled and lived on a fixed income From my pension which is very low so I have to keep track of my rates on my insurance We all know how expensive insurances here in the state of Michigan Specially living on a very low fixed income. I have had consistent coverage for over 30 years And work very hard to keep in good standings for that long I never missed or was even late on a payment ever. what happened to me was I was switching to a new company I found a savings of $348 a year cheaper for the same Coverage somewhere else. That's a lot for someone on a fixed income I accidentally canceled my insurance on the 31st but was paid through the 4th of the following month. ( PIONEER STATE MUTUAL ) was so butt hurt That I was Switching they refused to help me. I Ask them to change it to the 1st So I wouldn't show lapsed and they Flat out refused although they were paid till the 4th. I want you to know this Is the kind of service that you are going to get with. ( PIONER STAST MUTUAL ) so because of Them being so butt hurt I'm gonna show lapsed for one day and the reason they did this is so I would have to pay a higher rate for a year because I was leaving them.If I were you I would keep looking for a different and Insurance Company this one definitely does not have your back And if they ever get the chance To stab you in the back they will.
