A tow truck company did not hook up my truck properly after an accident and then caused it to get into a second accident what do i do now?

My truck had my 2 dogs in it when it
came unhooked from the tow truck and
headed down the mountain going apx.
35mph and only thing that stopped it
from going off the mountain side was
when it crashed head on into a parked
police car that my passenger was sitting
in to keep warm.

You can sue the tow truck company for negligence.
Negligence is the failure to exercise due care (that degree of care that a reasonable tow truck would have exercised under the same or similar circumstances to prevent foreseeable harm).
Your damages (monetary compensation you are seeking in your lawsuit) would be property damage to your vehicle and injury to your dogs caused by the tow truck driver's negligence. Depending on the amount of your damages, you might be able to sue in small claims court.
