Am I entitled to alimony if my husband makes more than I do and I currently only work 3 days a week?
Also, how do you determine child support and what is “fair” to both parties if sharing custody 50/50?

It is my understanding that laws regarding alimony or spousal maintenance as it is called as well, changed in the mid 80's and having the determination of support be weighed at trial on the basis of various factors such as length of the marriage and the standard of living during the marriage. Ther are percentages used in making determinations and this is best asked to ana ttorney in your area who can look at the totality of the marriage. Child support is based upon state guide lines and there is a worksheet that you can probably look up on line to give you an idea. Good luck.
