Am I entitled to my regular pay if employer closes the shop on my normally scheduled work day due to holiday?
Wednesday is my scheduled work day. This year, it is also Christmas so my clinic will be closed. Am I entitled to my regular pay?

You only need be paid for days that you actually work, unless there exists an employment contract or union agreement to the contrary. The fact is that a business can set the conditions of the workplace much as it sees fit (absent some form of legally actionable discrimination). Accordingly, an employer can choose to pay for holidays or not.

No, your employer does not need to pay you if you don't work that day, including because they close the business that day. There is no right to paid holidays; while an employer may choose to provide paid holidays, they do not need to.
