Am I legally entitled to a refund from a business with a money back guarantee if it’s my choice to not continue with them because of what they did?
I took my dog to a 10 day board and train obedience school. While there, they changed his food and fed him hotdogs without permission. I called several times to check on him without mention. He ended up getting an intestinal infection and bled internally because of it. We had to take him to the emergency vet for treatment. We asked for our money back because we didn’t trust them to continue training and they said that’s our choice so they aren’t refunding our money. We made this choice because of their negligence. Am I entitled to a refund?

You are absolutely entitled to a refund. You need to put all communications in writing and you need to make sure the diagnosis from the doctor indicates the dog's illness was from this change in food. If you provided food and the company did not feed him this food or if you were not made aware this food would change due to the procedures the company uses to teach obedience, you need to place that in your correspondence and indicate you are contacting all authorities and agencies who handle consumer protection issues of this sort and licensing issues. This will be your local or state prosecutor or attorney general, the local animal protection society and possibly the police.
