Am I legally required to give the father of my child half my taxes which I recieve for our child?
The father of my child feels I am required to give him half of the amount I recieve for our child from taxes. Also, are we both allowed to file the child care expense on our taxes?

Unless you have a written agreement or court order stating that you are required to provide the father of your children half of your tax refund that you receive as to your child, you are not required to do so under the law. As to claiming child care expenses as deductions on separate taxes, both you and the child's father are entitled to claim the deductions that you each pay.
