Am I liable is someone else child becomes injured on my property?
Am I liable is someone else child becomes injured on my property? Lets say for example the parent was with the child in my house and the parent was not supervising the child and they fell down the steps? Doesn’t the parent has some sort of responsibility to supervise their child’s own behavior/actions or does the blame somehow fall entirely on the home owner?

The owner of the property is liable when a person is injured on the premises; whether the person is a visitor or trespasser. If a child is injured on the premises, the property owner is liable for the medical bills and pain and suffering which is an amount in addition to the medical bills. You may be able to argue that you are not 100% liable because the parent was negligent in supervising the child; however, the property owner is still liable even though liability could be less than 100%.
