Are parents liable for an uninsured 20 year old who was in a car accident with a friend’s car?
Our daughter 20 was in an auto accident wherein she borrowed a friend’s car. She didn’t own a car nor insurance at the time and hit another motorist. Can we be sued for any damages?

No, parents of an adult child (assuming she is mentally compentent) are not liable for any accidents she is in or damage she causes when driving her car or, in this case, a friend's car. The parents would only be liable if they were owners or part owners of the car being driven.
