Are payments from bonus’s from the gross amount or net?
I am to receive a percentage of my ex’s bonus each year. He was told it was from the net amount of the total bonus and I was told it is from the gross amount of the total bonus. Who is right? We were officially divorced about 18 months ago.

Typically, unless there is something in a divorce settlement or decree to the contrary, it would be from the net amount. That is because the net amount is his money, and so what he can give you; the taxes taken out from the gross amount are Uncle Sam's (and/or his state's) and he cannot give you a piece or part of them.
