Are there lawyers that represent individual with disabilities in different legal matters?

Involved in a personal injury claim and feel already being disabled has caused discrimination.

While there probably are lawyers who specialize in representing the disabled generally--i.e. in different legal matters--that's not a specialty in the sense of there being many practioners; you may have trouble locating an attorney like that.

What there definitely are, are attorneys who specialize in representing the disabled in employment, housing, and other contexts where they commonly face discrimination. However, since I suspect those attorneys likely do not do personal injury cases--or at least, that's probably not something they are particularly experienced in--they may not be the best choice.

If you feel that your particular attorney is not adequately representing your interests for any reason, then you should look for another lawyer; but the problem may simply be this individual attorney, not a matter of his or her speciality.
