At fault accident with limited insurance

I was involve in an accident in December 2015 and when the police came it was
cited that the accident was my fault. the other driver was sent to the hospital.
After the claim was filed, my insurance contacted me to inform me that my
insurance might not cover all the damages and if that happens, I will be
responsible for it. they already ask me but i don’t have any property, or savings
or investment. So what will happen if my insurance is not able to cover, then
what happens?

If the case is not settled with your insurance carrier, you will be sued for negligence.
If the lawsuit results in a judgment which you cannot afford to pay, you may want to consider filing bankruptcy.  Chapter 7 bankruptcy is straight liquidation which will eliminate certain types of debts such as a court judgment against you in the auto accident case.
