Being added to title of townhome
My mother is purchasing a townhome
and paying cash. She wants to add me
to the deed and title. I have a mortgage
diahcharged in bankruptcy 2 years ago
and the foreclosure is still pending. Is it
safe to add me to the deed and title? I
dont want to jeopardize her
investment.

I would likely wait to do so and truthfully, maybe Mom wants to seek help from an estate planner about placing the property in a Trust for your benefit or some other planing option. My concern is that if there is a deficiency judgement against you from the foreclosure they can attach assets to pay for it. Good luck.
