What to do if I’m being pressured to put my newborn baby up for adoption by a relative?

I just a had a baby and am currently living with my aunt and cousin. The father of the child is actively involved. I suffered from the “baby blues” 2 weeks post partum and adoption was a option but now I have come to terms and am coping well. My aunt had let me know my cousin and her husband cannot conceive and would be thrilled to have him. She is now pressuring me into giving him to them and doing sneaky things, like telling me to leave my boyfriend out of this and now going behind my back, seeing lawyers and talking with others secretively after I said no. Is this legal?
