my mom is leaving me her home when she passes. She has a home equity loan on it. Am I responsible for paying this loan off? I have NO money. I take care of her.

You will inherit the home with whatever liens it has on it before your mother dies. If the equity loan requires payments, you will have to make them, or face the possiblity that the holder of the equity loan will foreclose on you and take the house.
