3 claims had send by but no later than date. I did. Arrears. I had a claim form on check send on 4/5. Had started a job, didn’t send. Job was nightmare. Lined up another joband put earnings on claim form of $300 per week for babysitting. Gave week notice to employer but she reported me. Now got an overpayment for week of 3/30-4/4. But I didn’t send that in: EDD sent duplicate claim forms. Say I owe them; have held back since April. They called, woman was so hostile, wouldn’t listen to me, cut me off when I tried to speak, & pretty much just verified their info, which made me look like a liar.

Okay so what is your question? Did you lie on the forms? Did you quit and explain in writing to EDD why you quit?
Please contact a manager of EDD. If that doesn't help, contact your local field office of a local council office or person if you feel you were duped by EDD. Also try a state senator or congressman. If all else files, try consulting with a labor law lawyer. Try www.attorneypages.com and check his or her disciplinary record at www.calbar.ca.gov under attorney search.
