Under the laws of all states in this coutnry a thirteen (13) year old minor can be questioned by law enforcement as well as the principal of the school with respect to a bomb scare and threat issue without the minor's parents being present.
If the minor is a target of a crime, then his or her rights per the Miranda decision must be given by law enforcement before questions are presented by law enforcement.
