I am 16 years old and I want to move out what are the consequences if I do?

Maryland does not have a youth emancipation act so the consequesnces of moving out at 16 could be pretty heavy. Your parents are your legal guardians until you are 18 and you could be considered a run away or a Child in Need of Protection. If things are bad I would urge you to turn to ana dult that you trust for help. Good luck.
