Can a gym membership turn me over to collections if they don’t have my SSN or address?
My ex-boyfriend opened a membership for me that I cancelled. The gym has been hounding me for 3 years saying I owe 1 more month and then they will close the membership. I never signed the contract so all they have is my name and phone number no other nformation.

Absolutely. Most collections agencies or attorneys can get your address and SSN in about 30 seconds. If you never signed a contract, however, then there may have been no meeting of the minds, and you are in a position to tell them to pound sand.
