Can a police officer shine a flashlight in my windows if there is a civil paper but for a former resident?
I recently found out that police officers are coming to my house, never when I’m home, and shining flashlights into my house. There are civil papers out for someone who used to live here. I’ve called 5 times to tell them that I live there now but they still are coming and no one will give me any information. Is this a civil rights issue? What can I do?

You may need to go down to the police station to talk to them in person and correct that mistake.
